Student Visa is your source of information if you want to learn about international experiences or prepare for your own adventures. My name is Rob Sulaski and I am a University of North Carolina student on exchange in Pamplona, Spain. I began Student Visa as a place to share information that I wish I had known prior to going abroad as well as stories that would have made me even more excited to begin my exchange program.
Student Visa is built around the podcast where I bring on other exchange students from across the globe to discuss trips, experiences and a variety of topics related to studying abroad. On this site, you will find the episodes along with notes, contextual information and media to go along with each one.
In addition to the podcast, I will write blog posts on topics that I either do not cover on the podcast or can be best told with text and images as opposed to audio.
Student Visa has three main goals:
- Prepare those planning to study or travel abroad with advice and recommendations.
- Inspire more people to study and travel abroad by telling stories about my amazing experiences.
- Provide a greater perspective to audience members by listening to diverse guest hosts.
The Author and Host
Like I said, I am a student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Western North Carolina is my home and my family still lives in Montreat, NC. As a result of growing up near Asheville, NC, mountains, bikes and craft beer have a special place in my heart.
My passions include the outdoors, entertainment and storytelling. Because of this, I am studying Interactive Multimedia in the School of Media and Journalism at UNC. My goal is to tell engaging stories that encourage people to live their life to the fullest and make planet earth a better place.
